Summer Somewhere

RE:UNION Series 2 – Double Dry-Hopped IPA
(collaboration with Perennial Artisan Ales – St. Louis, MO)

Summer Somewhere is a Double Dry-hopped, tropical IPA brewed in collaboration with brewer Phil Wymore of St. Louis, MO’s Perennial Artisan Ales</a<.

When our story last left off, Kevin had been brewing for Gordon Biersch in Chicago. At that time, Phil Wymore was heading up Goose Island’s barrel aging program and on his way to becoming the Head Brewer for Half Acre Beer Co. Kevin and Phil shared a mutual appreciation for each other as brewers and became fast friends. As Kevin would eventually head back to Baltimore to build UNION, Phil headed to St. Louis to start Perennial and eventually be renowned for their smash hit spiced stout, Abraxas.

This hazy IPA bursts with tropical aroma of Pineapple, Orange, and Mango taking you to your own private island of hops. Subtle and soft bitterness and light malt lay a beach blanket on the sand as wave after wave of fruity hops crash on your palate.
