The current temperature in Baltimore is 37 degrees but my calendar swears Winter is over, and judging by the beers we are ready to release, Spring is here and UNION is coming in like a Lion! New and renewed beers are coming out of the tanks, our tiny tap room got a much needed addition, and even our staff has sprouted some new best buds. We are happy to announce the newest addition to the UNION family, Matt Zrebiec! Matt comes to us after working as the Area Brand Manager for Oskar Blues Brewery for the past 5 years. The Tasty Suds For Our Best Buds
A.M. Gold Vol. II debuted last week. Its the 2nd experiment in a collaborative project with Ceremony Coffee Roasters from Annapolis in which we infuse a light cream ale with expertly roasted varieties of coffee. Volume II is infused with Sumatra Sabri, a medium roast with a touch of caramel sweetness and light herbal note.

Perfecta – Perfecta is our spring seasonal Bohemian Pilsner. The name is a nod to the Preakness and the rich Maryland horse racing tradition. A Perfecta bet is when you win by picking the first two horses to cross the finish line in exact, or perfect, order. It will hit our taps this Thursday, March 26th. Liquid Local Legends Vol. II – ???  – The second installment of our 3XL draft-only series will be released next Friday, April 3rd. More details coming very soon!

Spring IPA – If you’ve been following along, you may have noticed that we don’t make a year-round IPA. Sure, Duckpin is pretty hoppy, but we consider it a session APA. And Double Duckpin is only brewed once per quarter in limited quantities. But we do have Royal Farmhouse DIPA in the summer, Foxy Red IPA in the Fall, Rye Baby IPA in the Winter, and this Spring we will bring the newest addition to our IPA arsenal. Are you ready? Stay tuned.
