We take the quality of all of our beers very seriously and want to ensure that the beers that you buy from us exhibit the flavors and quality that we intended and that you, our valued customers, deserve.
A couple weeks ago we noticed a few bottles of our Snow Pants Oatmeal Stout tasted off and had developed unintended flavors that were not present in the same beer when served on draft. After receiving similar reports of other Snow Pants Oatmeal Stout bottles we sent samples to an independent lab for analysis. We reviewed the results of the lab analysis and we have determined that some bottles are developing unintentional flavors resulting from the secondary fermentation that occurs in our bottle conditioned beers.
We are extremely proud of all the beers we produce and Snow Pants is no exception. While there is absolutely nothing in the bottled beer that can cause any physical harm, (and Jon actually really enjoys the new flavor developments), we want you to experience the beer as we intended. We invite you to return any unopened bottles you still have to the brewery tap room during business hours and we will issue you a credit or exchange the bottle for a comparable product or merchandise item.
