Bronze for Balt at 2014 World Beer Cup!

Last friday night we attended the 2014 World Beer Cup in Denver. It was an awesome event filled with the best brewers from all over the globe. We are thrilled to report that our own Balt Alt, winner of the Gold medal at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest, was awarded the Bronze medal in category 47 – German-style Brown Ale/Dusseldorf Altbier! This is particularly exciting considering we were up against tried and true Alt brewers from Germany who were taking the majority of awards for German-style beers. So next time you hoist a pint of Balt, remember that your own hometown brewery in Baltimore is brewing one of the worlds best Altbiers!
